Calling all local birders! The Westmoreland Land Trust is offering a free year-long series of paired bird talks and bird walks called “Birds Across the Seasons” by ornithologist Dr. Andy Mack.  Andy’s third talk about fall bird migration will be given at the St. Xavier Nature Preserve in Latrobe. The Wednesday evening lecture will be followed on Saturday, September 28, by a guided bird walk from 9:00 to 10:00 AM through the fields and forests of the nature preserve.  Please bring binoculars for the walk and dress for the weather. All events are open to the public and free to attend.
