The Scottdale Historical Society incorporated in July 1987 and was reorganized in 2005. Its mission is to collect, preserve, and archive the Scottdale area’s rich cultural, industrial, and architectural history for the enjoyment and education of present and future generations. Scottdale is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
