About the Venue
Historic Hanna’s Town is located 3 miles north of Greensburg at 809 Forbes Trail Road. The village was founded in 1773 by Robert Hanna and was the site of the first English court west of the Allegheny Mountains prior to the Revolutionary War. The settlement was attacked and burned by Indians and their British allies on July 13, 1782. Hanna’s Town never recovered and court was moved to Greensburg in 1786.
